The Relationship between Congenital Zika and Bruxism in Early Childhood

Zikavirus infection during pregnancy generates a series of neurological, musculoskeletal and sensory disorders known as Congenital Zika Virus Syndrome (CZVS), being responsible for even oral changes. This study aims to review the literature address relationship between congenital development bruxism in childhood. To achieve this goal, research was carried out by means Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), PubMed Google Scholar databases, using keywords “Zika Infection”, “Bruxism” “Dentistry”. After critical reading papers abstracts, total 15 articles considered relevant theme were selected they published last 5 years. Bruxism reaches prominent level several studies, with its prevalence varying 20.3% 100% clinical analyzed.
